IQ Capital hires Pippa Pearce as General Counsel

IQ Capital has hired Pippa Pearce as its General Counsel. Pippa will play a central role on investments and exits, and also work closely with IQ Capital’s portfolio companies to support them on legal questions that may arise from early-stage funding through to exit.

Pippa worked for twelve years as a Corporate Solicitor at Mills & Reeve LLP, where she advised over 100 fast-growth and technology businesses such as Grapeshot, DeepMind and Secret Escapes on start-up or spin-out, growth and expansion matters through to successful exit. During her time at Mills & Reeve, Pippa also worked with investors such as IQ Capital, Mercia Technologies, the North West Fund for Biomedical and the Low Carbon Innovation Fund.

Pippa is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Manchester and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law in London, where she also completed the Legal Practice Course.
