IQ Capital welcomes Mason Sinclair as deeptech Principal 

IQ Capital is delighted that Mason Sinclair has joined our investment team as a Principal.

Mason has over a decade of experience in the world of deeptech. Mason has been an engineer, entrepreneur, advisor and investor across multiple businesses in the high-tech sector. He was previously a deeptech investor at Octopus Ventures, Creator Fund and Newable Ventures.

Mason holds degrees in both Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge. He specialises in the commercialisation of disruptive technologies, helping businesses to find product-market fit, to develop go-to-market and to optimise business strategy and growth.

Mason joins our highly differentiated team of investors who combine strong vertical expertise in deeptech with our wide experience of commercialising new technologies and working with founders to scale their businesses. Mason will play a central role on sourcing and executing investments, as well as advising portfolio companies, with a particular focus on AI and machine learning, robotics, quantum computing and human-computer interfaces.
