Senseye announces opening of German office

Senseye, a provider of cloud-based predictive maintenance software for Industry 4.0, announced that has expanded its team in Germany and opened a new office in Essen to boost support for its industrial clients and drive expansion in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Senseye’s operation in Germany is led by Peter Portner, who joined the company in January this year from software company Ubisense, where he was European Vice President of Sales. Senseye has already secured five industrial clients in Germany, including a major automotive OEM, and has appointed Torsten Heiland, Carsten Maas, Christian Wulff and Stefan Eisele to boost its client engagement and business development capabilities.
Senseye’s expansion into Germany coincides with a period of expansion at the company, which is experiencing demand across Europe for its Predictive Maintenance industrial software.
Senseye’s Predictive Maintenance industrial software uses machine-learning algorithms to forecast machine failure and the remaining useful life of industrial assets automatically. It is powered by A.I. technology that fine tunes its own performance, enabling users to monitor any machine in any location.
