Chris joined IQ Capital in 2023 with a focus on Aerospace & Defence (Space, Dynamics, and Robotics), AI, and Manufacturing and Materials (Advanced Manufacturing, Distributed Systems, and Optimisation).
Originally an engineer and scientist, he completed his PhD in Aerospace Materials with the University of Oxford and Rolls Royce plc, followed by a Research Fellowship at the European Space Agency in Advanced Manufacturing. Concurrently, Chris worked as a research associate at the Oxford Saïd Business School in the Oxford Space Commerce and Governance Initiative, tracking the evolution of the NewSpace ecosystem.
Chris works with existing portfolio companies and sources new opportunities, investing in technology innovations to improve and secure the world.
