Thought Machine scores Google Cloud accolade

Thought Machine, the cloud-native banking technology company, today announces that it has been awarded Google Cloud’s Industry Solution Partner of the Year – Financial Services for 2021.

This award recognises Thought Machine for creating industry-leading technology in the cloud and its success in delivering outstanding customer service in 2021 leveraging Google Cloud.

Thought Machine has built Vault Core and Vault Payments, modern cloud-native technology enabling banks and fintechs to remain competitive and flourish into the future. The Vault platform is cloud native and agnostic to support any type of bank, and any cloud provider, offering high levels of performance, reliability and more efficient product development.

This award demonstrates Thought Machine’s excellence in the field of cloud technology and its impact on the financial services industry. Together, Google Cloud and Thought Machine have demonstrated their joint impact in supporting banks around, such as Lloyds Banking Group, Atom bank and SEB, to modernise their core technology.

Thought Machine’s work with SEBx, the innovation studio of the Swedish financial services group, SEB, and Google Cloud, has been recognised as part of this award. SEBx selected Thought Machine for core banking services and built its infrastructure on Google Cloud to launch UNQUO, a new bank for ‘solopreneurs’. The combined force of Vault Core and Google Cloud’s technology has enabled SEBx to design a highly differentiated, high-performing service from scratch and deliver it into the hands of their customers with speed.
