Nyobolt builds super-fast charging, high power, and long cycle-life lithium-ion batteries to power the energy transition.
Nyobolt produces high performance lithium ion batteries based on novel electrode materials. Nyobolt's batteries have a high power density, meaning they can be charged in as little as 5 minutes. They also have very high cycle resilience, which means they can be charged and discharged thousands of times. Nyobolt is enabling electrification in high performance applications such as warehouse robotics and data centres, and industries such as mining.
Spun out of the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge in 2019, Nyobolt was co-founded by Prof. Dame Clare Grey and Dr Sai Shivareddy (CEO).
