Flink automates materials handling with flexible, fast, and robust robotic systems, leveraging breakthroughs in computer vision, simulation, and algorithmic planning.

Flink is a spinout from Computational Robotics Lab at ETH Zurich. Flink provides a software ‘brain’ for industrial robots to automate common tasks in materials handling. The technology surveys and segments systems of interest using computer vision, simulates a range of motion plans in real time, and selects the optimal set of robot paths (individual or teamed) to perform tasks. The promise of Flink’s breakthrough in simulation and algorithmic planning is the ability to generalise across complex manipulation tasks, increasing reliability and reducing costs and time to delivery for logistics centres globally.
