Isaac is a part-time Research Associate at IQ Capital, providing technical guidance and sourcing investments at the interface of deep learning, computation and engineering.
He is also a PhD student in machine learning at the University of Cambridge, where he uses tools from applied mathematics to design robust, scalable new algorithms. Before that, he worked as a systems engineer at Opsydia, a tech spinout using adaptive optics for laser fabrication inside diamond.
He obtained his Master of Physics degree from University of Oxford, where he researched the dynamics of quantum entanglement in one-dimensional interacting systems driven out of equilibrium. Isaac has interned at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self Organisation and at Google. His investment approach is Bayesian.
